Once you complete payment for a Visual Anatomy License from the store, your order will automatically update on the Accounts page.

The software will be available for download on the Orders and Downloads pages, as below. A download link will be available for each Computer OS listed below:

  • Windows Intel 64-bit
  • MacOS Intel 64-bit
  • Linux Intel 64-bit; fully tested on Ubuntu 20.04

Click on any link to download the software installer, suited to the computer you are using.

The license detects each operating system as a separate computer. Therefore, for example, if you have Windows and Linux installed on the same computer; if you run Visual Anatomy on both operating systems, the software will register each OS as a separate computer. If you have purchased the Visual Anatomy 1PC option, you can only use the license key on one OS. If you have the Visual Anatomy 5PCs or Visual Anatomy 10PCs option, and run the application on both operating systems, 2 License Key slots will automatically be filled, i.e. either 2/5 PCs used, or 2/10 PCs used.

Double-click the Visual Anatomy Installer, once your download is complete. Windows will ask for permission, if you want to allow ‘Visual Anatomy Installer.exe’ to make changes to your device. Accept, and the installation window below will appear.

Read and Accept the End User License Agreement. Follow the steps provided to complete installation. Once installed, you can launch Visual Anatomy from your desktop if you selected create desktop shortcut, or from the Windows start menu.

Mac OS

Click the MacOS download link. Once complete, you will find a ‘Visual Anatomy.pkg’ file in your Downloads folder. Open this file, and follow the steps provided by the installer. Read and accept the License Agreement, and follow the remaining steps.

Once installation is complete, you can launch Visual Anatomy from the Applications folder as with any other MacOS Application.
